Chief Executive Officer

Brady Simmons brings a specialized background in capital acquisition, operational scaling, and high-density infrastructure partnerships to the Foedus ecosystem. His experience navigating complex corporate structures and driving profitability aligns with the mission of acquiring and deploying capital, Federated AI Factories (FAIF), and specialized AI infrastructure. Brady thrives on using his background in private equity and small-business creative solutions to achieve the end goal through culminating relationships and strategies.

Ted Heiman

Chief Information Security Officer

With over 30 years at the forefront of cybersecurity, Ted has spent his career helping Fortune 100 companies and the DoD deploy cutting-edge security solutions to protect their data, networks, and cloud infrastructure — before most organizations even understood the threats they faced.

Today, Ted serves as CISO of Foedus AI, an enterprise AI infrastructure company where he is architecting the security framework for a national network of 50 purpose-built AI data centers connected via a proprietary mesh network. It is the kind of complex, high-stakes, ground-up security challenge he has spent three decades preparing for.

Throughout his career, Ted has closed landmark security deals and built lasting relationships with some of the world's most demanding organizations — from securing the Department of Defense's Common Access Card program (25M+ cards issued worldwide) to deploying PKI infrastructure for Visa, Tesla, Salesforce, and Southern California Edison.

Robert Dotson

Chief Revenue Officer

A proven strategist, thought leader and asset to teams and ventures, Robert has built a career centered on helping teams refocus and forge paths toward newly invigorated — and sometimes newly crafted — opportunity. An engaged and experienced leader, he thrives developing win-win-win, people-first endeavors, and is far more interested in being part of a great team than being at the top of the marquee.

He brings significant history across business optimization, business development, data protection and privacy, transactional systems, marketing, operations, management development, and sales. A veteran of the consumer services industries, he has broad fintech, insurance, secured and unsecured debt, and tax experience. Venture capital, M&A, compensation plans, I/T management, and a bit of television and theatrical entertainment production are also in the dossier.

Robert has had a significant leadership role in the individual and small-business tax services industry over several years. As a veteran of more than a dozen startups, he focuses on leadership development and a servant-leader culture — comfortable working with any member of the corporate structure, passionate about creating opportunity for talented individuals and leveraging great relationships to help them make great things happen.

Andrew Bottimore

Chief Investment Officer

Andrew (Drew) Bottimore brings a background spanning financial services, investment banking, capital markets, and the public sector. He most recently served as Managing Partner of Green Pine Capital, a boutique capital markets advisory business with real estate, infrastructure, and data center coverage experience.

For the seven years prior, he served as Partner of Malbec Capital Partners. Before Malbec, Andrew held various other financial services roles, after serving in government — experience that includes a Presidential-appointed role in the White House's Office of the U.S. Trade Representative.

Andrew has studied at Georgetown University, the University of South Carolina, and Université Paris Sorbonne.

Ed Hackney

Chief Business Development Officer

Ed Hackney has been a financial executive for 43 years and is currently a principal in a money management firm poised to disrupt the industry. Known as a premier connector due to his vast influential network of contacts and decades-long relationships, he is the catalyst that brought the Foedus AI team together.

He is an Indiana native who studied at Hanover College, and was married for 44 years to his high school sweetheart before she passed away in 2020. He has since been blessed to have found a new wife with whom he now resides in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Drew Hackney

Creative Director

Drew Hackney is a tech-minded storyteller, bringing his creative and theatrical expertise to the fast-moving digital realm. He started his career at Disneyland, where he performed for thousands of guests daily and learned the core of Disney's world-famous service philosophy.

He took that knowledge to Automattic, the parent company of WordPress, where he spent over a decade serving millions of users and developing new privacy and security frameworks to protect them. As a solo content creator, he has leveraged his unique perspective and humor to generate hundreds of millions of views across multiple platforms.

He resides in Los Angeles with his wife and daughter.
